Mario Minor, Jr.

Growing up on and around the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, Lakota/Nakoda music artist, Mario Miner Jr. developed an undying connection with the blues and rock & roll music at a very young age. Wielding a 4-string guitar named "Howlin Duke", which he built out of other broken guitars and junk parts that were laying around his house, Mario infuses his cultural roots, storytelling, a strong passion for playing music, along with his humorous demeanor and molds it into a unique live show that people of all ages can enjoy.

Meet some of the experts, collectors, and luthiers that have made Bozeman’s guitar industry what it is today. Hear their stories, learn about the nuances that make each guitar unique, and listen to their handmade guitars. After the presentation in the auditorium, enjoy light appetizers in the Main Lobby and explore the GUITAR exhibition.
