Now in its fourth year, MOR’s Hops & History program supports the Museum’s Living History Farm. Every month during the summer season, Hops & History brings a lively audience of adults to the Farm by pairing the Gallatin Valley’s brewing past – presented by MOR Curator of History, Michael Fox – with beer tastings from local breweries.

June 27 – From Field to Glass: Barley, Hops, and Water
featuring Outlaw Brewing Company

We will look at the history of agriculture in the northwest and the ways in which the brewing industry has influenced it. From field to malting house, from hop yard to the brewery, we will examine the process of manufacturing beer from the 1860s to today.
